CHOC house at IALCH

The CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation is a voluntary organisation bringing together the parents of children who suffer from all varieties of cancer or life-threatening blood disorders.

CHOC house in Durban is ideally situated in the grounds of Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital residence and at present has available eight double rooms to cater for the needs of parents/ guardians and children admitted to the hospital for cancer treatment. 

CHOC house offers a friendly environment for both parents and children while they are in hospital. Accommodation and all meals are supplied. Completed application forms are faxed from the Department to CHOC. Maximum length of stay is 5 days.
